JBGB will soon have a new neighbor in north Fayetteville.

First National Bank of NWA today officialy broke ground on their new branch location on a 0.7-acre site on North Steele Boulevard, next door to the brewery and restaurant.

The bank has been working at a temporary location at 2638 E. Joyce Blvd., Suite 1, since 2015.

FNBNWA is partnering with CR Crawford Construction, Core Architects, Lisa Claybrook Interior Designs, and Integrated Solutions Group to build a 10,000 sqft building on the .71 acre site.

“I am very excited for our team and for the Fayetteville Community to break ground on such an amazing building,” said Rob Husong, bank president. “Our construction team along with our Fayetteville Community President, Tanya Mims, have worked diligently to design a bank with the Fayetteville community in mind and I believe it will be one that the community will be proud to have as we continue our commitment to investing in the communities we serve.”

If all goes well, the project is expected to be completed in the summer of 2020.
