Fayetteville launches new online utility bill system

Fayetteville utility customers can now use a new online system to view their account activity and make payments.

The new “eUtility” system includes accounts for residential and commercial recycling and trash collection as well as water and sewer services.

The web portal allows customers to pay utility bills with credit or debit cards; set up automatic payments; receive email reminders; view consumption and account information; view and download past utility bills; opt out of mailed paper bills; and manage multiple utility accounts with on user profile.

Customers who currently use automatic bank drafts (ACH), mail-in, in-person, or phone payments can continue to use those methods, but may choose to sign up for eUtility to use its features as well.

Customers who have been paying their utility bill online using the previous utilities customer portal (Paymentus) will need to create a new eUtility account to continue paying their utility bills online. The old utilities customer portal will be disabled on Monday, Dec. 2, and automated payments through that system will be deactivated at that time.
