Wine lovers, rejoice. Bordinos will host two wine tasting events next week.
The fun kicks off with a rose tasting set for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8. Lorenza Winery guest Melinda Kearney will host the event, with tastings of Grenache, Carignan, Mourvédre and Cinsault from 100 year old vines, followed by a glass of the 2018 Lorenza Rosé. The tasting is just $20 to attend.
From the winemakers:
Lorenza is a dry, true rosé meaning we harvest the grapes early in the season with the intention of making rosé. We have been making rosé since 2008, before it was cool! We are still making the wine in the same way working with 100 year old Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache and Mourvedre vines. We started our brand because we love Provençal rosé and wanted to up the game on our own turf with an authentic rosé coming out of California. We’re thrilled the rest of the world has caught on. We believe that Rosé makes people happy and Lorenza is our way of spreading the love.
Later in the week on Thursday, Oct. 10, Bordinos will host a four course wine dinner, with a chef-prepared meal paired with Valravn wines from Sonoma County.
A full menu for the Valravn wine dinner is listed below. The event begins at 6 p.m., and the full experience is just $75 per person (includes tax and gratuity.
