This weekend is nuts, y’all.

It’s Fayetteville Film Fest weekend, for one. This year’s event includes film screenings of features, documentaries, shorts, and more, along with panel discussions with the filmmakers, and other events. Here’s a link to the full schedule.

It’s also NWA Fashion Week in Fayetteville. This year’s fashion festivities are taking place at Drake Field. The Frida show features looks by local boutiques and designers, and starts at 6:30 p.m. Here’s more.

TheatreSquared has a brand new show opening this week called Native Gardens. It’s playing at their brand new theatre all weekend long. Here’s the schedule.

Next door, legendary songwriter Lyle Lovett is performing at the Walton Arts Center at 8 p.m. on Friday night.

Just up the street, you can also check out legendary guitar slinger Steve Kimock, who is playing a three-night run at George’s starting on Friday night.

That’s not even half of it. Click around below for more.

The annual Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival is taking place at Agri Park beginning early on Saturday morning.

Also on Saturday, you can check out some professional and amateur cyclists racing through all kinds of crazy obstacles at FayetteCross pro/am bike racing event on Millsap Mountain where a new bike-focused park is set to be built in the coming years. Here’s more.

Also in sports, the Razorback basketball team will kick off their season with a Red/White game at 3 p.m. Instead of playing in the Bud, the Hogs are having a bit of a throw-back event, and playing in the old Barnhill Arena on campus, paying tribute to the days of Nolan and Eddie. In fact, the teams are divided into Team Nolan, and Team Eddie, and fans are encouraged to dress in their best 80s/90s gear. Here’s more.

Music-wise, there’s a big hip hop show at the AMP. It’s the JMBLYA festival, featuring Juice Wrld, Playboy Carti, Chief Keef, Murda Beets, and others. Here’s more.

Remember the Apple Seeds Inc. Evening at the Farm event we wrote about recently? That’s also on Saturday.

Locals Basement Brew will celebrate the release of their new album on Saturday night at Smoke & Barrel. Jamie Lou has a new project featuring Meredith Kimbrough (Lost John) and Christian Serrano-Torres, and they’ll open the show. Here’s our interview with Lee from Basement Brew from earlier this week.

Up in Bentonville, the Momentary will introduce themselves to the community with an event featuring an art talk, live music, and more from 3-7 p.m. on the facility grounds. Here’s a bit more on that.

On top of all that, Fayetteville Film Fest continues on Saturday, as does NWA Fashion Week who will host an Avant Garde and Couture show on Saturday.

There’s a ton more below. Good luck deciding what to do.
