Comedian Pete Lee coming to UA Oct. 11

Comedian Pete Lee is coming to the University of Arkansas for a performance this week.

Lee, who according to his website is “the first standup comedian to get a standing ovation on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” will perform at 7 p.m. at the Union Ballroom on Friday, Oct. 11.

He has also appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing where he finished as a semi-finalist, on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, TruTV’s Greatest Ever, TruTV’s Comedy Knockout and Comedy Central’s Roast Battle among other projects.

His UA appearance is sponsored by University Programs through the Office of Student Activities and is supported by the Student Activities fee.

The show is free to attend for UA students, and UA students must show ID for entrance. Admission for the general public is also free, and is contingent upon seating availability after UA students are served.
