San Francisco-based metal band and Drag City recording artist OM is coming to Fayetteville next year.

The band will be in town to perform at George’s Majestic Lounge on Monday, Feb. 24.

OM got its start in the early 2000s by the rhythm section of the band Sleep. Since then, the band, now performing as a trio, has released five studio albums, and a handful of live recordings. Their name comes from the Hindu concept of Om, considered “a sacred sound that is known generally as the sound of the universe.”

They’ll perform in Fayetteville with Denver-based band, Wovenhand and locals, Bones Of The Earth.

Tickets to the show range from $20-22, and are now on sale at George’s ticketing site.
