It’s probably a good idea to shake off some of that turkey Friday night. George’s happy hour is as good a place to start as any. This week, local super group Isayah’s Allstars will provide the booty-shaking soundtrack. Later on at George’s, Grateful Dead tribute The Schwag will perform.

How about some laughs? There’s a comedy show at Nomad’s with local comedian Ray Porter’s Black Friday Extravaganza.

There’s a holiday show to check out as well. TheatreSquared will perform their new adaptation of the Dickens holiday classic, A Christmas Carol all weekend long. Here’s more info.

Little Craft Show / Courtesy

You hear that sound? Of course you don’t. That’s Little Craft Show, sneaking up on you like a ninja. This year’s show takes place on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Fayetteville Town Center. The event features hand-made goods from makers all over the region.

Arkansas’ basketball team is currently undefeated at 6-0, and coming off a crazy game versus Georgia Tech where the Hogs beat the Yellow Jackets on a last-second three-pointer in overtime. The Hogs will be back in action at 4 p.m. on Saturday versus Northern Kentucky at Bud Walton Arena.

Its’t he last Saturday of the month, and that means time for a variety show at American Legion. This month, check out The Lark & The Loon, The Red Lens, and I Am.

Also in local music, Fetts Folly will perform at JJ’s on Steamboat, The Odds are at JJ’s on Dickson, and The 1oz Jig will play at George’s.
