Fenix gallery will present and evening of music and sound exploration with AIR STRUCTURES on Saturday, Dec. 7. The audio ensemble features Drawing Room Recording artist Kevin Blagg and Emmy-nominated composer Amos Cochran.

The group first performed the show at the Contemporal Immersion series in Fort Smith and then again in the North Forest at Crystal Bridges for the closing of the 2019 Color Field exhibition.

Organizers hope this Trillium Salon Series-sponsored event will offer a more intimate experience for the performance.

From Fenix:

Using guitar, synthesizers, percussion, and computer manipulated sounds, AIR STRUCTURES create long form hypnotic soundscapes that blur the boundaries of ambient, electronic, jazz and classical music. Suggestive of viewing a film in slow motion, each piece is an introspective journey of emotional sound sculpting, providing listeners’ an experience that challenges their perception of time and what it is they are actually hearing.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets, which include a copy of the ensemble’s self-titled debut album, are $10 at the door.
