The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas is set to ring in the holidays with two shows this month.

SoNA will perform their annual Christmas Pops concert titled A Very SoNA Christmas on Saturday, Dec. 21, followed by their family-friendly show The Snowman: A Family Concert on Dec. 22 at Walton Arts Center.

A Very SoNA Christmas will include a mix of holiday classics along with new works “celebrating the magic and beauty of Christmas.”

“Our Christmas concert is a showcase for the orchestra and some exceptional talent from Northwest Arkansas,” said SoNA Executive Director Matthew Herren. “It’s also a moving experience which is reflective of this time of year. We’ll be playing both secular and sacred music, and, of course, there will be surprises.”

Two performances of A Very SoNA Christmas are scheduled, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Dec. 21.

SoNA will perform a live score of the classic holiday film The Snowman at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22. For those who aren’t familiar, the film is an animated film based on Raymond Briggs’ 1978 picture book of the same name.

Tickets for A Very SoNA Christmas range from $33-$55, and are free for a limited number of patrons 18 and under this year with the purchase of an adult ticket.

Tickets to The Snowman are just $10.
