Want to freeze your toes off? The annual winter 15k (with a 5k option this year) run on Kessler Mountain, Frozen Toes, is happening on Saturday morning. We wrote about it recently.

Also in things we wrote about recently, the free SoNA concert for children and families at Springdale Public Library is happening Saturday morning. Here’s more info about that.

The Razorback basketball team is playing one of their most highly anticipated games of the year on Saturday. They take on the hated rival the Kentucky Wildcats in a 3 p.m. matchup at Bud Walton Arena. Go Hogs!

Music-wise, there’s a good show at George’s Majestic Lounge with new local band The Next Unknown, along with Jamie Lou & The Hullabaloo and The Red Lens. The Next Unknown recently released their first video, which has already been viewed more than 10,000 times on YouTube.

Also in tunes, locals Moonsong and Moldilocks are at Backspace.

Finally, the Walton Arts Center will showcase films made right here in Arkansas on Saturday night with the first ever Arkansas Filmmakers Showcase. The event is being co-hosted with the folks from Fayetteville Film Festival. Here’s more info.

There’s a lot more below. Click around for more info. Have fun, buddies.
