The rumors were true.
After months of speculation online, Walmart AMP officials this afternoon that jam-band Phish will play their first show in the state of Arkansas when they appear a the venue for a show on July 29 this summer.
Y’all don’t need me to tell you who Phish are. The legendary Vermont-based band has been touring the country for decades, building one of the most loyal and rabid fanbases of any band in the world.
Despite all the touring, however, the band has to date never performed in Arkansas. In fact, Arkansas is one of just six states in which the band had never performed in their career.
Guess that’s about to change, eh.
Tickets range from $45 to $90, and will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 7.
