A new gala event to raise funds for local charity will debut next month.
The event, called ‘City of Stars,’ is set for Friday, Feb. 7 at Walton Arts Center.
The gala will raise funds for Open Avenues, a Rogers-based charity that supports people with disabilities through job training, life skills training, employment, job coaching, and ADA accessible transportation.
The City of Stars Gala specifically will support Open Avenues’ transportation efforts, with each ticket sold going to fund a full month of transportation services for one Open Avenues client.
The gala will include music by local DJ, M.Bolez, heavy hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, and other festivities.
Tickets are $50 per person, or $90 per couple.
