The folks at the AMP decided if they were going to announce Backstreet Boys this morning, they better balance things out with some Megadeth. So they did.

Venue officials announced that Megadeth and Lamb of God will bring their co-headlining North American tour to the Walmart AMP for a show on Tuesday, July 14 this summer.

It will be Megadeth’s first tour since 2017, following Dave Mustaine’s diagnosis and recovery from throat cancer.

“Hello me! I’m back again, better than ever and coming to a town near you with Lamb of God, Trivium and In Flames,” Mustaine said in a press release issued this morning. “If you want high octane metal madness this is the tour for you.”

Lamb of God recently released their first new music in four years with their single, Checkmate, the first song from their upcoming self-titled album, due out May 8.

As Mustaine mentioned, Trivium and In Flames are also on the bill for the tour.

Tickets to the show range from $30-$99.50, and go on sale at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 14.
