Fayetteville Roots Festival 2020 lineup includes Shovels & Rope, Mandolin Orange, The Lone Bellow and more

Fayetteville Roots Festival organizers today announced the lineup for their 2020 event, set for Aug. 26-30 at various venues around town.

This year’s lineup features several returning artists like Shovels & Rope, Mandolin Orange, Peter Rowan, American Aquarium and Iris Dement, alongside Grammy-nominated musicians Bettye LaVette, Madison Cunningham and Hayes Carll.

Brooklyn-based band The Lone Bellow will also appear, as well as Capitol Sun Rays featuring the all-star cast of Luther Dickinson, Grahame Lesh, Amy Helm, and Birds of Chicago.

Bernice and Bryan Hembree, the husband and wife duo of Smokey & the Mirror and co-founders of the festival, will also perform.

In addition to music, the five-day festival also includes chefs offering culinary creations with locally sourced ingredients.

The event includes a variety of late night shows that will be announced at a later date, alongside the culinary lineup.

Multi-day ticket packages to the upcoming festival are on sale now, and include VIP passes, along with 2-, 3-, and 4-day passes. Tickets to individual events and single-day passes may be made available at a later date.
