Happy Friday, everyone.

It’s a good weekend for jokes in Fayetteville. There are a couple comedy shows to check out in town, with Dwayne Duke at Nomad’s for an installment of their Southtown Comedy Night, and touring comedians Jenny Zigrino (Fifty Shades of Black) and Kelsey Cook will perform on campus at the Verizon Ballroom inside the Union.

Local supergroup the Flipoff Pirates are back together for a performance at Smoke & Barrel on Friday night. They bring the funk.

There’s a big EDM show at George’s with Freddy Todd, Dorfex Bos, Fractal Sky, and Meesh on Friday night if you feel like shaking a leg or two.

Also in tunes, there’s a four band rock show at Backspace with Austin-based rockers, The Teddys, along with Barista Boys, Sharp Woolston, and John Charles.

There’s plenty more below.
