If you like theatre, this is the weekend of your dreams in Fayetteville.

There is TheatreSquared’s hugely popular one-person show, Ann, about the life of former Texas governor Ann Richards. The show has drawn rave reviews, and has been extended multiple times. Better see it while you can, though.

UA Theatre has a new show this weekend, Heathers: The Musical. It’s based on the film, and directed by local theatre veteran Morgan Hicks. We’re exited about this one as well. Here’s more.

On top of that, the British farce See How They Run debuts this weekend at Arts Center of the Ozarks in Springdale. Ticket info is here.

How about opera? Opera Fayetteville will perform a new show, Glory Denied, at Walton Arts Center this weekend. Here’s more.

There’s a cool show on the square Friday night, with singer/songwriter Dori Freeman at the Guisinger Music House. Tickets are $20, and are available online.

Also in tunes, legendary country music star and cookbook author Trisha Yearwood performs at Walton Arts Center Friday night. Ticket info is here.

There’s a rock show with Gebharts and Gardensnakes at Smoke & Barrel, and there’s a Sting/Police tribute at George’s.

There’s even more below. Get weird.

If you missed any of the theatre performances we mentioned on Friday night above, don’t be too bummed. Most of them are also happening on Saturday night (see below for details).

Music-wise, there’s an 80s hair metal tribute at George’s on Saturday night called Hot Lix.

Nomads Trailside has a show on Saturday night with local shoegazers, Olympics, along with Neon Glittery, and Tag Along Friend.

At Smoke & Barrel, St. Louis-based jam band Surco is in town for a show.

There’s a lot more below. Have a great weekend, everyone.
