Giveaway: VoiceJam Competition, April 4 at Walton Arts Center

Attention a ca-fans. Some of the top vocal bands from around the country are coming to Walton Arts Center to compete for the title of VoiceJam Champion on Saturday, April 4.

And guess who has a pair of tickets to give away to the show? It’s us.

The competition, which WAC officials say has become one of their most beloved events of their season over the last five years, will feature six groups this year; AcaBelles from Florida State University (Tallahassee, FL), The Beartones from Missouri State University (Springfield, MO), INQUIRE from Searcy High School (Searcy, AR), License to Trill from TCU (Fort Worth, TX), Treble on Huntington from Northeastern University (Boston, MA), and
Standing Ovation from Pfeiffer University (Misenheimer, NC).

Tickets to the event start at just $19 at waltonartscenter.org. Of course you won’t have to worry about that if you’re the winner of our little giveaway. Good luck!

How to enter

After a cloudy, wet, cold-ish, snow-less winter that lasted for what seemed like about 9 months (to us, anyway), it seems spring is finally about to spring in Fayetteville. Leave a comment below telling us your favorite thing about this time of year, and you’re entered.

What you’ll win

One (1) winner chosen at random will win two (2) tickets to see the Voice Jam Competition on April 4 at Walton Arts Center.

A few rules (read ‘em carefully):

  • You may only enter this specific contest once.
  • This contest is open to anyone anywhere except Fayetteville Flyer writers, Walton Arts Center employees, and their immediate family members.
  • Contest is open until noon on Friday, March 10.
  • We’ll notify the winner in the comments of this post. Once we notify the winner, you’ll have 24 hours to respond via email to claim your prize.
  • You’ll have to provide us with your first and last name (if you win) and then be prepared to show a valid photo ID when picking up your tickets.
