Two Dickson Street pub crawls planned in honor of St. Patrick’s Day

Put on your green pants, and your stripe-y green socks, and one of the green hats from your leprechaun hats collection, everyone. It’s almost time for St. Paddy’s Day.

Around here, that means it’s time for a pub crawl on Dickson Street, and this year, there’s not one but two opportunities to do just in the works in Fayetteville.

Dickson Street Merchants have organized St. Patrick’s Day crawls on Saturday, March 14 for the weekend-partying types, and on Tuesday, March 17 for the St. Paddy’s day purists to get out and enjoy a green beer or two at Dickson Street watering holes this year.

The Saturday, March 14 event begins at 3 p.m. at Ryleigh’s on Dickson Street, and will visit several bars in the district.

The Tuesday, March 17 event on St. Paddy’s Day proper will start at 5 p.m. at George’s Majestic Lounge, and will also visit several establishments on Dickson.

Participants in both events can enjoy 15% off food that evening at Tony’s NY Style Pizza and Mickey Finn’s, and those who visit all of the participating bars and pick up a stamp during the respective events can return to the starting point to pick up a commemorative t-shirt.

Tickets to both events are $15 in advance, and $20 the day of the crawl.

For a bit more info, visit the Facebook events (March 14 / March 17).

For tickets, visit Stubs.net (March 14 / March 17).
