Two local churches that offer free community meals have shifted to a to-go model until further notice, due to the continued spread of coronavirus.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will serve its regular community meals as pick-up only in grab-and-go lunch bags on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at the church’s Welcome Center at 224 N East Ave. in Fayetteville. Volunteers are still needed to help assemble the meals. To get involved, email [email protected].

St. Paul’s is also accepting donations of non-perishable food items, hygiene products, and household supplies via their Little Free Pantry.

Trinity United Methodist church has implemented a similar process for its weekly 3:30 p.m. Sunday Supper meals. Trinity is located at 1021 W. Sycamore Street.
