Editors note. Here at the Flyer, we’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about how to support our local businesses through these difficult times. And while we don’t have all the answers on this, we will personally be doing everything we can to help our neighbors and locally owned businesses, starting with a pledge to spend all of the dollars we can locally. Other ideas to support local businesses right now include purchasing gift cards now for future use, utilizing delivery or curbside delivery with local restaurants while they can remain open, tipping well, and shopping online from local boutiques and stores whenever possible.

We’ve been giving away gift cards to local businesses on our Instagram and Facebook pages to remind folks to support local places as much as they can, and we’ll continue to do that for as long as we can (look for those on Facebook and Instagram).

We are open to your ideas on this as well.

Let’s stick together, y’all. If anyone can get through this, it’s the Fayetteville community. Love to all of you guys, and thanks for supporting local places.
