If you know your way around a sewing machine and are looking to put those skills to good use right now, some locals are seeking help to make masks for healthcare workers during the coronavirus outbreak.

Arkansas Arts and Fashion Forum, the folks behind NWA Fashion Week, have organized efforts to get the masks to local hospitals and medical clinics.

The group has fabric available for use, and has elastic on order for the materials. AAFF officials will drop off the masks to local clinics on a weekly basis.

Instructions for how to make the masks are available at arkansasfashion.org/masks/.

Locals can pick up fabric and materials and drop off completed masks at the AAFF office, located at 203 E. Emma Ave, Ste. A in Springdale during the hours listed below.

Completed masks can also be mailed to 616 W. Poplar Street, Rogers, AR 72756.
