Arkansas residents will have an additional three months to file their state taxes amid the coronavirus pandemic, Gov. Asa Hutchinson said Monday.

The move mirrors the federal government’s updated deadline, which is also July 15. It does not apply to corporate filings or estimated corporate payments, Hutchinson said.

The new Arkansas deadline applies to both filings and required payments.

U.S. officials had previously announced plans to extend the federal tax payment deadline while still requiring filings to be in place by April 15, but later announced that both federal filing and payment deadlines would be extended by 90 days.
