UA student creates NWA Resources Map for COVID-19

A University of Arkansas student has created a Google Map that lists resources available for folks affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Sophie Hill, intern at Sustain UARK and the Associated Student Government’s director of sustainability, built the map with help from some interns from the City of Fayetteville. It includes information on food pantries, free meals, temporary housing, financial aid, emergency care, COVID-19 testing, and other resources.

Hill said she will continue to update the map and add resources every few days.

Update: Some of the organizations included on the map have reached out to say the representation of their services on on the map is inaccurate. We’ve removed the link to the map for now until it can be edited so as not to add to the confusion.
