Fayetteville Public Library will remain closed through April 18, officials announced today.

The closure is in accordance with local government regulations concerning COVID-19.

The library had originally announced plans to close through March 29.

“The health of our staff and patrons is top priority, and that is what has been guiding our decision-making,” said David Johnson, executive director of Fayetteville Public Library. “As we make the tough choice to remain closed, we are exploring what additional services we can safely provide to our community.”

During the closure, Fayetteville Public Library staff can be reached at 479-856-7000 or [email protected] during regular business hours.
