Want to help some local businesses while also supporting local nonprofits?

The folks behind SupportLocalNWA.com, the new gift card marketplace to help local businesses during the COVID-19 outbreak, today announced that for every gift card sold on their site before 8 p.m. today (Thursday, April 2), a donation will also be sent to each customer’s local nonprofit of choice.

The donations will be made thanks to a matching grant offered by The Tyson Family Foundation & The Willard and Pat Walker Charitable Foundation.

Those who purchase gift cards have the opportunity to select one of over 300 NWA nonprofits that they’d like to see receive the funds when they check out.

Movista, a software development company based in Bentonville, recently launched the site in which 100% of the proceeds of gift card sales goes directly to the respective businesses.

The site went live on March 23, and already offers gift cards from nearly 340 local businesses.
