Fayetteville offers compost delivery while supplies last

Fayetteville residents can have two cubic yards of compost delivered to their homes for $75 while supplies last.

The compost was made using recovered food waste from schools and restaurants, which was then mixed with yard waste materials at the city’s compost facility.

Low- to moderate-income households, or those newly unemployed could be eligible for free or reduced pricing.

Delivery is for residential homes only. Commercial properties are not part of the service. A maximum of two cubic yards of compost will be delivered. Mulch will not be delivered. Delivery will be made with a grapple truck and can only be delivered to locations close to a street, free of overhanging wires, and away from structures like poles and mailboxes.

To schedule delivery, residents should call the Recycling and Trash Collection office at 479-575-8398.
