All of the city’s spring recreation programs have been officially canceled, Fayetteville Parks & Recreation officials announced Monday.
Those programs include youth soccer, adult soccer, youth softball, and adult softball.
“While it saddens us that we are not able to deliver the high-quality recreation experiences this community expects and deserves, the health and safety of our patrons remains our top priority,” the announcement stated.
The city will issue user credit to all who have paid for the program to be used for any future programs, including youth or adult sports or facility rentals. The credit will not have an expiration date.
Parks & Recreation staff will begin applying those credits through the city’s Civic Rec system.
