Walton Arts Center cancels John Cusack, Raj Suresh appearances

  • By Todd Gill · Monday, Apr 13, 2020

John Cusack in High Fidelity / Touchstone Pictures

The Walton Arts Center on Monday announced the cancellation of two more events.

Appearances by actor John Cusack and comedian Raj Suresh have both been canceled. Cusack was scheduled to appear April 9 for a screening of High Fidelity followed by a live conversation and audience Q&A. Suresh was set to perform on April 24 as part of the Mosaix Festival highlighting Indian culture.

Patrons with tickets to Raj Suresh will be emailed about their ticketing options, the center announced in a news release. Those with tickets to John Cusack will receive a full refund to their original method of payment.

All WAC performances have been suspended through May 9, but the center’s staff are working with resident companies, artists and tours to reschedule some performances for next season if possible.

As the status of other performances are updated, ticketholders will be emailed about their ticketing options. Patrons can view a current list of shows according to their status at waltonartscenter.org/ticketing-updates/.

The Walton Arts Center lobby is currently closed to the public. For questions, contact the box office at 479-443-5600 or at info@waltonartscenter.org.

Shows scheduled for this summer at the Walmart AMP are not currently impacted by COVID-19 prevention measures.
