The Fayetteville Flyer is and has always been free to read, thanks to the support of the local businesses that have stepped up to become Sponsors of the site over the years.

That’s not going to change anytime soon, either.

That said, times are tough out there at the moment, and like everyone else, we are working to adapt to the new world we are all living in.

This month, we are launching a new advertising feature called NWA Open for Business, designed to give businesses of all types an affordable way to advertise, and show how they’re helping their customers now that everything is different.

Is your restaurant offering new family meals curbside? Are you a medical professional who is practicing using telemedicine? Do you teach classes via Zoom? Maybe you’re a photographer offering front porch sessions? This new feature is designed for you.

How it works

Advertisers can contact Email us to place an ad. The ads can be 280 characters in length, and come with one image and a link.

The price is $100, and can be pre-paid online (we’ll send instructions).

We’ll collect these advertisements and publish them on the Fayetteville Flyer on Wednesday, May 20. We’ll share the link on our Facebook page (35k+ followers), Twitter feed (28k+ followers), and Instagram stories (45k+ followers).

Here’s a link to the first round of ads to get an idea of what these can look like.

If things go well, we’ll continue doing this on a monthly or bi-weekly basis.

Email us to get started, and thanks for helping to support the Fayetteville Flyer.
