Walton Arts Center launches weekly webcast and curated list of online performances

  • By Todd Gill · Monday, Apr 20, 2020

The Walton Arts Center has launched a weekly webcast and a curated list of online performances focused on providing entertainment options that can be enjoyed at home.

The heARTs to homes webcast airs at 6 p.m. every Saturday on the arts center’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. Episodes are available for 24 hours after they air.

The family-friendly episodes feature performances, along with arts activities and recommendations on what else to watch online.

The center has also partnered with several local restaurants, and viewers are encouraged to order dinner to eat from one of the featured restaurants while watching the performances.

The upcoming April 25 show will have a jazz focus in celebration of International Jazz Day.

For more information about each week’s featured performances and restaurants, visit waltonartscenter.org/hearts-to-homes.

For those looking for entertainment options throughout the week, the center’s Virtual Stage offers a curated list of performances and resources available online.
