It’s getting a little harder to find local live music livestreams on the weekends, so if you know of any, please feel free to fill us in below in the comments.

JJ’s Grill’s Social Distancing Live is continuing this weekend, with performances on Friday night from Juggernaut on Friday, and Mister Lucky on Saturday. Both performances will take place from 6-8 p.m. via the JJ’s Rogers Facebook page.

Walton Arts Center will host one of their heARTS to Homes events featuring live jazz via their Facebook page Saturday night at 6 p.m.

Also in virtual tunes, Smoke & Barrel Tavern will host a performance online with DJ E-Yo on Saturday night at 7 p.m., also on Facebook live.

The UA Athletic Department is hosting a couple virtual events and challenges this weekend. There’s a sidewalk chalk art contest happening, for example, with some football tickets at stake for the winner. They are also hosting a virtual Hog Call challenge at 7 p.m. on Saturday night. Here’s more info on that.

Other than that, you could check out what some local businesses are doing to stay open during these crazy times.

You could pick up a Clunk t-shirt to help support some local bars who are currently closed right now.

If you own a local business and didn’t get any assistance the first time around, you could apply for this second round of PPP coming out soon, which we can tell you from experience, is a whole barrel of laughs.

You could make some cookies, go for a run around the neighborhood, write a novel, read some poetry, plant some flowers, pick up some trash somewhere, take your grandma some groceries, figure out how to manufacture COVID-19 tests, build your own ventilators, wrestle the iPads out of your kids hands, play some backyard baseball, work on your jump shot, jump some rope, catch some bugs, snuggle with your dog, watch the birds, make Smores, learn to speak French, listen to an audiobook, take a bubble bath, apply for welding school, watch some documentaries, try to hold it together, zone out, play Monopoly, make some masks, or eat all the rest of the chips.

Keep doing your best. That’s all that matters.
