Experience Fayetteville has launched a new ad campaign to try and encourage locals to help support local restaurants during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The organization, part of the Fayetteville A&P commission typically charged with promoting tourism in Fayetteville, launched an initiative urging residents to “Spend a little, help a lot” by ordering curbside and carry out from local restaurants and eateries while dining rooms are currently shut down.

They have set up a “Local Love” page on their website including a list of restaurants currently open for curbside, takeout and delivery, ways to help laid off hospitality workers, along with some other suggestions for non-monetary ways to help support local places.

From the website:

Now more than ever, one of the best parts of Fayetteville – our local restaurants and their amazing staff – needs our help. So, let’s come together as a community to show our support from the safety of our homes and vehicles!

If Fayetteville residents do their part by ordering takeout or delivery from time to time, we can help local businesses in a big way! So, we’ve put together resources that can help our favorite restaurants through this pandemic and show support for our community

The page also includes some fun backgrounds for Zoom conferences featuring scenes from around Fayetteville.
