Remember live music? That was fun.
Anyway, it will still probably be a while before people can pack into George’s for an in-person performance by our favorite local, regional, and national acts, but the venue today announced arguably the next best thing.
George’s Live podcast will feature interviews, performances, new song premiers and more by 15 local artists over five days from May 18-22.
Artists include Randall Shreve, Jon Dooly, Honeyjack, John Henry Holthus, Kory Montgomery, Modeling, Patti Steel, Dial Up, Defrance, Skye Pollard, Simeon Basil, Route 358, Drew McLaughlin, Joel Robertson, and Ashtyn Barbaree.
The show will be streamed live each evening at 7 p.m. on the George’s Facebook page. Afterwards, an archive of the performances will be available at George’s Youtube channel.
George’s Live is the podcast by the legendary George’s Majestic Lounge music venue in Fayetteville, hosted by longtime local drummer Travis Smith. The podcast is available on all podcast outlets.
