One of the signature events of Walton Arts Center’s annual Artosphere Festival will still take place this weekend, just a bit differently than originally planned.
The arts center’s annual Trail Mix Concerts, featuring performances by musicians along the trail system, will take place virtually on Facebook and YouTube at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 16 as part of the heARTs to Homes series.
The event is hosted by Meghan Dale and Rachel Burkevich, and includes performances by Mariachi Esencia, Hogtown Hot Club and Candy Lee.
Also planned are interviews with city officials about recycling and trail etiquette, as well as with the folks behind the new Curbside Theatre we recently wrote about.
The event will be streamed live, but those who miss it can view an archive of the performances.
