Weekend Flyer: Isayah Warford, Maud Crawford, and more

It’s looking a little rainy, but it’ll be a three-day weekend for lots of folks, so that’s something.

Our calendar is still suspended, as bars and music venues are still closed, but we did find some local live music to check out via livestream this weekend.

Deepwood Media will continue their weekend livestreams from Fossil Cove Brewing Co. this week, with performances by Isayah Warford on Friday night, and Tiny Towns on Saturday. Both shows start at around 7:45 p.m. via the Deepwood Media social media channels. Here’s more info.

JJ’s Grill is still hosting their Social Distancing Live concerts from their Rogers restaurant. This weekend, there will be performances by Maud Crawford on Friday, and Jenna and the Soulshakers on Saturday streaming from their Rogers restaurant’s Facebook page.

How about a cocktail? Maxine’s Tap Room will be making them via Facebook live on Friday night as part of their Maxine’s Home Edition program. This week’s kit is sold out, but you can get a jump on grabbing next week’s kit here.

Big Box Karaoke has re-opened on a reservation-only basis, with several restrictions / safety measures in place. Their facility is uniquely configured with the private suites, so this could be a good option for a small group that has been quarantining together. Here’s more.

Prairie Street Live is hoping to host an outdoor event, watching an old Talking Heads show on their big screen Saturday night (as long as the weather cooperates). Here’s more about that.

Feel free to let us know about anything we’ve missed, or just tell us what you’re doing and give us some ideas, because we’re fresh out.

Have a great weekend, everyone.
