New murals completed in Fayetteville

If you haven’t been out and about much lately, you might not have noticed that a couple new murals have been completed in Fayetteville.
Both new pieces have been installed on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on the south side of Fayetteville.

The first is located on the old Farmers’ Coop building (417 W. MLK Jr. Blvd.), and was created by artist Joleen Jewell. Jewell’s work is titled Daisies, Marigolds, and Busy Bees, and according to Specialized Real Estate Group, the company that owns the building, the mural is the first of several they hope to add to the building in the coming months.

The second new mural is located on the Mangos tacos building at 2050 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The mural is called Luchadores, was created through a collaboration between artists Jason Jones and Octavio Logo.

Check out the new works below.
