A group of locals will host an annual crawfish boil this weekend to benefit the Children’s Safety Center on Saturday.

The event, called Crawfish for Kids, is set for Saturday, June 6 at First National Bank of NWA’s Fayetteville location, located at 2638 E. Joyce Boulevard.

Crawfish for Kids has typically been held at Kingfish bar on Dickson Street, but concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the event being moved to area outside FNB NWA this year. Crawfish and fixin’s will be available for $20 per platter, and attendees can drive thru and pick them up. Volunteers working the event will be wearing required PPE as well.

The crawfish will be provided by Delta Crawfish NWA, and there will be live music by Maud Crawford.

The event will take place from 12-3 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Children’s Safety Center of Washington County, an organization that helps children who have been victims of abuse in NWA.
