Walmart AMP to host drive-in fireworks display July 4

Good news, fireworks fans. Despite the pandemic, one of the biggest annual fireworks shows in NWA will still go on this year.

Walton Arts Center officials this week announced plans to host a socially-distant display at the Walmart AMP the evening of Saturday, July 4, thanks to a partnership with the City of Rogers.

The show will be visible from the parking lot surrounding the Walmart AMP and the nearby Pinnacle Hills Promenade.

In light of the pandemic, other festivities typically held in concert with the display, including a performance by the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, won’t happen this year.

Patrons are urged to remain in the their cars, but will be able to tune into 103.9 FM for a patriotic-themed playlist to accompany the show.
