Weekend Flyer: Arkansauce, Sprayetteville, State of the Art 2020, and more

Maxine’s is hosting another of their cocktail kit evenings with live music Friday night featuring local bad mammer-jammers, Arkansauce. They’ll be streaming from Maxine’s Facebook page at 7 p.m. Here’s a little more info.

Big Box Karaoke is open this weekend for reservations and take out. They are a planning to close for a couple weeks after this for vacation, so if you feel like singing, it’s probably a good idea to give them a call this weekend.

It’s the last chance to check out some of State of the Art 2020 at The Momentary and Crystal Bridges this weekend. The full show ends on Sunday, though some of the pieces from the exhibit will remain on display. They are limiting capacity, and advance reservations are recommended.

You could also head up to the square and get some veggies at the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market Saturday morning. Maybe some flowers. Fruits. Meats.

Also this weekend, there are eight new murals to check out at various locations around town currently being pained as part of the Sprayetteville Street Art Festival. Most of them are nearing completion. Here’s more about the event, and where you can find the new works of art.

That’s all we can think of for now. As always, please add any local livestreams, virtual events, or safe in-person options you know of in the comments.

Keep hanging in there.
