Weekend Flyer: Billy Strings, Funk Factory, and more

George’s Majestic Lounge has been closed for the past four months, but the venue is starting to re-emerge. This weekend, they’ll continue their Friday night online happy hour series with a performance by locals Isayah’s All Stars. On Saturday, they’ll host an in-person simulcast event featuring a performance by bluegrass prodigy, Billy Strings. They’re one of just 8 venues in the country chosen to get the live-feed. The last Maxine’s cocktail kit / livestream event of the summer is set for Friday night with a performance by locals, Funk Factory live from the venue’s Facebook page. The show starts at 7 p.m. Here’s a bit more info.

The 112 Drive-in is showing a couple classic films this weekend. The Drive-in will screen Back to the Future and The Karate Kid on Friday and Sunday. In between, they’ll be playing a Blake Shelton liv show on the 25th. Here’s more info.
