Cereal food truck to open at Mae Farm in Fayetteville

A new food truck focusing on breakfast cereals is set to open this weekend in Fayetteville.

The new truck, called Killer Cereal, is the brain child of local resident Blue Brasher.

The menu for the truck truck will focus on a variety of popular breakfast cereals either by the bowl or atop some chocolate or vanilla ice cream is set to officially open for business at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15.

According to a press release issued about the new business, Brasher is a 2020 graduate of Fayetteville High School who had planned to attend Pepperdine University on a full scholarship this fall in Malibu, California. That was before COVID-19, however.

Instead, she will be using her graduation money to start the business, and plans attend school in 2021.

The new food truck will be located in the Mae Farm Food Truck Court next to Cajun Kitchen, and will be open initially 7 days a week from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Mae Farm is located at 4782 N. College Ave. near the entrance to Lake Fayetteville park.
