The popular Secchi Day science fair and water appreciation day on Beaver Lake is going virtual this year.
Water sampling will still take place this year, but the annual water appreciation festival and science fair that goes along with the sampling has been moved online this year due to COVID-19.

The online event is set for Saturday, Aug. 15, and will include over 70 videos and photos of environmental and water education activities available at bwdh2o.org.
Participants can complete two or more activities from the website, and win a prize.
