Q: Who’s ready for a three-day weekend? A: Everybody.

It’s Labor Day weekend, and though the pandemic has limited the options a bit, we found a bit of live entertainment you could check out this weekend if you’re looking for options.

George’s Majestic Lounge has a few shows this weekend, starting with locals The Odds for Happy Hour on Friday night. Then on Saturday, local party dudes Boom Kinetic will perform, and on Sunday, the Arkansauce performance that would have been part of Fayetteville Roots Festival last week that was postponed due to rain is scheduled. Here’s ticket info for all of those shows.

Mount Sequoyah will host a performance on their lawn Saturday night with some classical musicians, Fiddler and Her Friends. The band is made up of Miho Oda Sakon, Ben Harris, and guest violinist Natalia Korenchuck. Tickets are sold in 10-foot socially-distanced circles on the lawn. Here’s more info.

The 112 Drive In is continuing its summer of classic films. This weekend, it’s Grease and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off through Sunday. Here’s more info.

You could do the singing yourself at Big Box Karaoke. Their private suites are open, and they have several extra safety measures in place.

The ORA is still in effect, and several local places have new outdoor seating areas so you can take advantage of the new ordinance and enjoy a beverage al fresco.

As always, feel free to let us know about other things you know about in the comments below.
