Weekend Flyer: Jackopierce, Kaia Kater, Putt for Paws, The Mixtapes, and more

Ready or not, here comes another weekend, everyone.

George’s has a couple big shows this weekend in their new parking lot set up. On Friday night, Dallas-based duo Jackopierce will perform for the first time in a long time in Fayetteville. It’s a $30 show. On Saturday, locals 1 Oz. Jig will perform. Here’s ticket info.

Fayetteville Roots Fest organizers will try out a new format for concerts at their HQ this weekend. The first of (hopefully) a series of shows called Roots HQ on the Avenue shows is set for 7 p.m. featuring past festival performer Kaia Kater on Saturday night. Details are here.

Walton Arts Center will debut their new Saturday cinema series this weekend, with screenings of Blinded by the Light at 2 p.m., and Kinky Boots at 7 p.m.

The Walmart AMP will also debut a new series this weekend, with their new happy hour series kicking off with The Mixtapes on Friday night.
