Slow Streets free ice cream social set for Sunday

Event poster
It has been a challenging year for many, but do you know what is not challenging at all? Free ice cream. That’s what.
Locals can get just that during a free ice cream social event set for 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20 at the Spring Shop studio, located at 704 S. Washington in Fayetteville.
The event, sponsored in part by Bike NWA, is part of the organization’s Slow Streets collaboration with the City of Fayetteville, intended to make neighborhood streets safer to walk and bike (especially in areas with narrow or missing sidewalks) in Fayetteville.
Masks are required, and will be provided to those who don’t have them.
Organizers are encouraging wacky outfits, hats, or colorful clothing, but the ice cream is free to enjoy.
