Pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and petting zoos open this fall near Fayetteville

Did you feel that chill in the air this morning? Notice a few of those leaves starting to change? Can you already hear the Hog calls coming from you neighbor’s place, who has already begun solo driveway tailgating for this weekend’s Razorback football game? (Go Hogs!)

You know what that means right? It’s decorative gourd season, y’all.

Of course, there are plenty of ways to get your hands on a few porch pumpkins this year. You could pick one up at the grocery store. If you got started a few months ago, maybe you could grow one yourself.

But for those who like a little more fanfare for your fall pumpkin picking experience, well, there are plenty of options for that as well.

Below are seven local pumpkin patches we know of around Northwest Arkansas that will be open this season, several of them complete with hay rides, corn mazes, pony rides, petting zoo’s, and other autumn fun.

As with everything else, pumpkin pickin’ will look a little different this year, and several of the below farms have installed new measures to ensure social distancing and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Feel free to let us know about any new spots that we may have missed in the comments below.

Happy pumpkin’ picking, everyone.
