The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce is planning to host virtual forums featuring candidates in the upcoming mayoral and City Council races beginning today.
The first forum will take place over Zoom at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1 when incumbent Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan and challengers Tom Terminella, Ron Baucom, and William Harris are expected to answer questions from the chamber moderator.
After that, a forum for Ward 1 City Council candidates is set for 3:45 p.m. on Oct. 2, Ward 2 City Council candidates will face off at 3:45 p.m. on Oct. 8, Ward 3 City Council candidates will (virtually) meet on Oct. 9, and a forum for Ward 4 candidates is scheduled for 3:45 p.m. on Oct. 15.
