Here’s some more Halloween fun for the kids this year.

Fayetteville Public Library this week announced plans for an all-ages Halloween Story Time featuring special guests at 10 a.m. on Oct. 31.

The event will feature appearances by Mayor Lioneld Jordan, cookbook and children’s book author Crescent Dragonwagon, and composer D. Riley Nicholson. There will be a reading of Charlotte Zolotow’s ‘A Tiger Called Tomás” and a discussion of the book, favorite Halloween memroies, and the importance of wearing masks and following safety guidelines. The event will be live streamed on the library’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

In addition, the library will also distribute free treat bags through curbside pickup from now until Oct. 31. The bags include toys, accessories, and Halloween-themed coloring pages. Parents can call 479.856.7219 to schedule a bag pickup from now through October 31 (while supplies last).
