Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan won his fourth consecutive term after taking nearly 68 percent of the votes in the Nov. 3 general election, according to final but unofficial vote counts.

Jordan defeated challengers Tom Terminella (25%), William Harris (5%), and Ron Baucom (2%) to secure four more years leading the city.

There were 93,981 ballots cast in Washington County, an all-time high.

Early results were released shortly after 8 p.m. with the final, unofficial tallies coming in at around 11 p.m.

In the City Council races, Matthew Petty and Sarah Bunch were re-elected to their seats. Petty defeated challenger William Chesser 64-36, and Bunch defeated Peter Tonnessen by a 77-23 vote.

The Ward 1 race will head to a runoff, with D’Andre Jones (38%) and Tanner Pettigrew (30%) facing off for the position 2 seat. Pedro Fimbres (20%) and Oroo Oyioka (12%) were defeated in Ward 1.

In Arkansas, if a single candidate does not win a majority of the votes, the two people with the most votes will square off in a runoff election unless the leading candidate receives more than 40% of the votes and is ahead of the runner-up by 20%.

In Ward 4, Holly Hertzberg (51%) defeated Kyle Smith (32%), Paul Waddell (10%) and Adam Fire Cat (8%).

In the state races, Nicole Clowney defeated challenger John Latour 70-30 in District 86, and David Whitaker defeated Brian Hester 55-45 in District 85.

Dianne Warren defeated Conrad Odom by a vote of 53-47 in the Circuit Judge District 4 Division 8 race, and Terra Stephenson defeated Mark Scalise for the State District Court District 2 Division 4 seat by a 54-46 vote.

We’ll have full results below as soon as we can finish typing them up.
