Sad news, central Fayetteville Wendy’s fans. Wendy’s closed their College Avenue location recently.
The restaurant was located at 2050 N. College Ave., next to Bocca Italian Eatery & Pizzeria.
We’re not sure when it closed officially, but we found the location shuttered over the weekend with the signage removed.
The chain still operates a location at 1473 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. A new location is also in the works in a development under construction on Mission Boulevard.
We’re hearing that the building will be home to a King Burrito location sometime at the beginning of 2021.
